Description

Trianel GmbH, a group of local utilities and energy providers, contracted a consortium consisting of Siemens PG, AE&E together with plant engineers IAI for the construction of a new 750MW coal fired power station in Lünen. Phase 1 design and subsequent construction was commenced by Codema in early Summer 2008. This consisted of deep foundations together with the major part of the infrastructure design. Phase 2 design and subsequent construction of the building works commenced in Autumn 2008. The power station is due to go online in 2012.
