Description of the project

Lurgi Bischoff is carrying out the environtechnical retrofit of the desulphurization plant in the cement mill Dunbar in Scotland for Lafarge Cement. Apart from the new clean gas- and bypass lines and their supporting construction, several new buildings in steel and solid construction style, equipment foundations, pipe- and cable bridges as well as reinforced concrete washers including a GRK chimney belong to the order complexity. For these objects CODEMA is taking over the complete structural basic- and detail engineering. The following planning services are - for example - implied: pre- and executive statics in solid construction and steel construction, architectural building drafts, executive drafts (formwork and reinforcement drawings as well as upgrading architectural drafts) or the construction of concrete building overviews. In addition to this CODEMA is responsible for the dynamic calculation of the booster fan foundation.
