Description of the project

Lentjes GmbH is building a flue gas desulphurization plant for the coal-fired power plant Moneypoint (3 x 300 MW) for ESB in Ireland. Lentjes had subcontracted the civil part as "design and built - performance".

Due to problems during the construction progress, CODEMA was commissioned to check the structural analyses of all massive types of construction and to organize the civil design works. In addition to this independent checking of structural analyses, CODEMA had already been involved in planning coordination and checking of the final planning of the civil subcontractors.
